Two Weeks In

Hello everyone!  P-Day has arrived and it started off with a wonderful trip to the Provo temple bright and early in the morning! Even though it's only my second week at the MTC, it feels like it's been a month since I've left! French is coming to me in bits and pieces. I can read and understand what's being said, but my challenge is having to speak what it is that I need and want to say.  My companion, Sœur Schade, has been a huge example to me when it comes to speaking the language. She knows how to put words and phrases together and she has patience with me as I try when we teach and practice. I'm in class for about 6 or more hours with breaks in between. We always get about 3 hours of study in or more .   Good news this week is that there are two new BEAUTIFUL  buildings at the MTC and my zone is one of the lucky zones to be moving into those new buildings next week along with other mission zones. We get to move in to them on Monday and we're all so stoked! The views are so majestic and you can see so many things from the windows! It's definitely a huge upgrade to those new buildings since right now my district is in a small room that we all call a prison as a joke.   On Tuesday Sœur Schade and I were chosen to be interviewed for a special project going on here at the MTC. We either might be in a church video for the open house they're having for the two new buildings on the MTC campus or we're going to be tour guides for the new buildings. Also, there's a rumor going around that on Sunday an apostle might come to dedicate the new buildings! There's also a possibility that the prophet might be coming in a couple of weeks! We'll be getting a huge wave of new missionaries each Wednesday since school is out. I love the MTC and all it has to offer! I love and miss you all! Love, Sœur Hopkinson tw
